Check out the final installment of our 4 part series where we take a stock 2011 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 Automatic and turn it into the V6 we guarantee nobody will want to mess with! We've been building this project car up in 4 Stages of modifications, so make sure to check out Stages 1-3 to see how we got here!
Stage 4 Modifications:
• ProCharger High Output Supercharger Kit - http://muscle.am/... • BBK Chrome Long Tube Headers - http://muscle.am/... • BBK Off-Road Shorty X-Pipe - http://muscle.am/... • Raxiom Black Projector Headlights - http://muscle.am/... • Saleen S281 Front Grill - http://muscle.am/... • Boss/CS Style Lower Fascia - http://muscle.am/... • GT Front Bumper Cover
If you've been following along, you've seen the amazing progress this car has made in Stages 1-3. We've created a Street Machine that not only looks and sounds tough, it has the performance to back it up. There's only one problem. That problem is that we can never have "too much" horsepower. We wanted more and so did you! We were overwhelmed with requests to supercharge this V6 and that's exactly what we did. Now equipped with a ProCharger system, 80# injectors, GT front bumper with Boss/CS Front fascia and Saleen grill, we opened up the intercooler to as much airflow as possible to keep the temperatures down.
In 95 degree weather and only 6psi, we were able to make 400RWHP and rip down the 1/4 mile track once again in 12.47 seconds. That's no slouch, so V8 owners should beware! We predict an easy 12.2 quarter mile ET on a cool day when we'll see a little more boost, colder temps and more timing. All of this on Nitto NT555R street radials!
Want to see what we do with this car next? Stay tuned because we might just have a surprise Stage 5 in-store for you. Want more details? You'll have to wait for our next video to find out what issue of 5.0 Mustangs and Super Fords Magazine the Stage 5 build is featured in!

Check out the 3rd part of our 4 part series where we take a stock 2011 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 Automatic and turn it into the V6 we guarantee nobody will want to mess with! We'll be building this project car up in 4 Stages of modifications, so follow along...
Stage 3 Modifications:
• Aluminum One Piece Driveshaft - Auto (11-12 V6) - http://muscle.am/... • JPC Racing Adjustable Upper Control Arm (05-12) - http://muscle.am/... • J&M Rear Lower Control Arms (05-12 All) - http://muscle.am/... • Ford Racing Handling Pack - MFR3MV6A • GT500 Style Spoiler (10-12 All) - http://muscle.am/... • Cervini's Ram Air Hood (10-12 All) - http://muscle.am/... • Smoked Tail Light Tint (10-12 All) - http://muscle.am/... • Smoked Third Brake Light Tint (10-12 All) - http://muscle.am/... • Smoked Quarter Marker Light Tint (10-12 All) - http://muscle.am/... • Smoked Turn Signal Light Tint (10-12 All) - http://muscle.am/... • Black Super Snake Style Stripes (79-12 All) - http://muscle.am/...
In our first and second stages, we showed you how easy it was too add horsepower and torque. Not only did we make the car more powerful, but we helped transfer the power to the ground, taking our stock 1/4 mile of 14.1 seconds, down to 13.37 at over 105 mph. Not bad for an economic and comfortable V6, huh? It was time to build up the suspension, so that we could rely on this V6 to be a street machine, as well. We headed to New Jersey Motorsports Park to conduct 0-60, Slalom and lap testing on their Lightning course. We then installed a Ford Racing Handling Pack, Aluminum One Piece Driveshaft and Upper and Lower control arms to help this car handle the way we knew it had to with all the power we have planned!
To make a dramatic styling change in Stage 3, to fit the newly found performance profile, we added a Cervinis Ram Air Hood, Super Snake Style Stripes, a GT500 Style Rear Spoiler, and tint to all of the lights around the car. Not only does the car look completely transformed from stock, it was missing nearly all of the signs of being a V6.
Like what you've seen so far... stay tuned for Stage 4, because we've got some tricks left up our sleeves!

Stage 2 Modifications:
• Ford Racing 3.73 Gears (11-12 V6) - http://muscle.am/... • Eaton Limited Slip Differential 31 Spline 8.8in - http://muscle.am/... • Matte Black Hash Marks (79-12) - http://muscle.am/... • Matte Black Rocker Stripes (79-12 All) - http://muscle.am/... • Staggered Black Machined GT500 Wheel & NITTO Tire Kit - 18x9/10 (10-12) - http://muscle.am/... • Borla ATAK Axle-Back Exhaust (11-12 V6) - http://muscle.am/...
In our first stage, we showed you how easy it was to add horsepower and drop over a half second at the track! In Stage 2, we added Ford Racing gears as well as an Eaton limited slip differential to help us better disperse that horsepower and torque evenly to the ground. You can see that we were able to pick up a few more tenths at the 1/4 mile. Not only does the car perform better, it has no problem laying down some rubber compared to the burnout in stock and Stage 1 form in the last video!
In order to accent the great factory styling, we added side scoops and louvers in Stage 1. To keep the theme going in Stage 2, we added a new set of Matte Black Rocker Stripes and Hash Marks, plus some bad-ass 2010 GT500 wheels and tires, staggered fitment, so that we could hook even more at the track!
