I have a question that no one answers, if we lose grid power, what will happen to the 104 + or - nuclear power plants we have? Cannot keep them all cool with power/back up power.

In a grid down situation, why does no one talk about the 104 + or - nuclear power plant melt downs this country will have??? Won't these nuclear plants radiate and contaminate our water/soil/air??

@SuperMadmax2000 Max makes a very good point here, we have + or - 104 nuclear power plants in the U.S. how would one prepare for these if they all melt down from a prolonged power interuption?
