Last week I commented on getting rid of gimmicks in the choreography. This week, more poor judgment in the choreography. Ola and Robbie must have forgotten what Len said in an earlier week, "The more you give, the more you get," meaning honest effort and judges' points.

What I notice is that Apolo absorbed Derek's coaching on how to project masculinity and virility in a performance and applied it not only this week but also the next in the tango and paso doble. Probably what Julianne was getting at previously by telling him, "Be a man."

If you've ever seen Donnie Burns dance or teach, you might marvel how he managed to find something innocuous to say about this performance, which I found obscene.

I admire Helio. He thanks, in this order, his racing team for letting him do the competition, his family, the fans, and Julianne. What a gracious, together guy.

Il Divo should not have been used as backup singers for a pair of ballroom dancers. This struck me as something of an abomination, like cheapening the brand.

She looks really happy at the end. She probably knows she and those four exceptional guys were creating something perfect and beautiful, a one-of-a-kind, once-in-a-lifetime sort of memory, even if they did it every single performance on tour.

I had watched a very poor quality of this video many times, then bought the CD. I think this live performance had some special chemistry that is missing from the studio-made version.

There's a part near the end approaching the climax, where the tenor is doubled by horns . . . this huge, strong voice, singing, "I'll win", doubled by horns and full orchestra. Just great!
