"November is National Adoption Month"

That one big surprise mention in the post below is this.
View our 30th wedding anniversary you tube, ready it turns out my wife maid of honor who I knew for at least 35 years , the  shocker is !! she turns out to be my biological second cousin.

FYI many adopted children are adopted out within a 20 mile radius from there place of birth and birth parents as for me born in Norwalk CT, birth parents brothers lived in Bridgeport CT approx 18 miles away all the time.
I now have the best of both worlds I have my biological family along with my adopted family none of this would not have happen if I did not have my wife 100 % support by my side during this truly amazing journey with one heck of a surprise...

Wake Up Connecticut! its way pass due the time has come to open up the adoption records and let the adoptee chose if they want see who they are and were they are from its there right and the right thing to do.

I am quite overcome with emotion right now and am having a hard time putting down on paper what I feel. He emailed me the photos that Valerie sent him. Wow, looking at you is like looking at our father. My son and I also resemble our Dad. So, of course, we look very much like brothers, except you have more hair than I do. I am going to try and send you some photos. I always felt there was something kept from me and every time I asked our mother she would always deny everything. However, our dad did tell me that I had a full-blooded brother named Vance, but unfortunately he did not have all the details, as it was kept from him too.

This was a well kept secret, even my aunts did not know and if they did, they would not tell me. Charlie, there is so much more that I want to say but right now it is difficult to put it all together. I can't wait to finally meet you. Wow, 55 yrs of not knowing that you have a brother, that is really something.

Hi Charlie, My son Jason just called me and broke the news to me. I really don't know what to say other than, I only see things like this happening on TV.
