1. If God does not exist,
objective moral values do not exist.

COSMOLOGICAL ARGUMENTS:


1. Whatever begins to exist
has an external cause.


2. The universe began to exist.


3. Therefore, the universe
has an external cause.




1. Every physical event has a cause.


2. Therefore the first physical event
has a cause.


3. Therefore there is a non-physical cause
of the first physical event.




1. Temporal beings exist.


2. Every temporal being is caused
by another.


3. An infinite regress of temporal beings could not cause the existence of anything.


4. Therefore, there is a first cause
of the temporal beings.


5. The first cause must exist
without a beginning
and without an external cause.




We know that there is motion in the world; whatever is in motion is moved by another thing; this other thing also must be moved by something; to avoid an infinite regression, we must posit a first mover.




All physical things, even mountains, boulders, and rivers, come into being and go out of existence, no matter how long they last. Therefore, since time is infinite,
there must be some time at which none
of these things existed. However, if there were nothing at that point in time, how could there be anything at all now, since nothing cannot cause anything? Thus, there must always have been at least one necessary thing that is eternal.

ARGUMENT FROM DEPENDENCE:


1. A dependent real (something real
and caused by another) exists.


2. The dependent real's cause must
also be real, and must either be dependent or independent (not caused by another).


3. The dependent cannot be the sole cause
of the dependent.


4. Therefore, the cause must include
an independent real (something real
and not caused by another).


5. Therefore, an independent real exists.

ARGUMENT FROM GOODNESS
(ARGUMENT FROM DEGREE):


Objects in the world have differing degrees
of qualities such as goodness. But speaking of more or less goodness makes sense only by comparison with what is the maximum goodness.

ARGUMENT FROM QUALIA
(KNOWLEDGE ARGUMENT):


There are certain undeniable facts
of conscious experience, called qualia,
which can neither be fully described
in physical terms nor conveyed by physical means, such as the subjective experiences
of the taste of salt or of seeing the color red. The factual existence of God or something like God is the only rational explanation
for the factual existence of qualia.

TELEOLOGICAL ARGUMENTS:


1. Given the fine-tuning evidence,
a life-permitting universe is highly unlikely on atheism.


2. Given the fine-tuning evidence,
a life-permitting universe is not unlikely under Theism.


3. Theism was pressed prior
to the fine-tuning evidence,
so it cannot be ad hoc.


4. Therefore, a life-permitting universe strongly supports Theism over atheism.




That which lacks intelligence cannot move towards a specific end, unless it is directed by some being endowed with intelligence,
as it is the archer who shoots his arrow
to his target. Every day, we see all unintelligent natural forces and objects being directed towards their perfect ends. Therefore some intelligent being exists
by whom all natural things are directed
to their specific ends.

Everybody knows that this being is called "God."




SUMMARY:


All Theistic traditions have always described God as the Non-physical Cause of the first physical event, the Independent Real,
the First Uncaused Cause, the First Mover, the Necessary Being, the Being of Maximum Goodness, and other similar designations,
in various languages and semantic constructions.

All of these arguments are in flawless logical form, and all of their premises have strong scientific and logical evidence supporting them (ask me for any of them, and I will provide it). Therefore there is no possibility of refuting any of their conclusions --
they are ironclad logical arguments.
