Why on earth would they fade this song out before that bad ass guitar solo was finished? Come on now. What a let down.

@Iasamei It's one of my favorites, too. Even though it is not that popular, it is a plus that the song has not been worn out by too much radio play.

What a great, optimistic song. IMHO, nothing sounds like a slightly distorted Hammond organ in rock music, and this song delivers in spades... with a fantastic guitar riff to boot. Rarely heard on the radio, too. Thanks for posting the long version. It was 6:20 of pure hypnotic bliss.

@wado1942 I know what you mean. That "headache" you are getting is likely due to your ears becoming fatigued from listening to music that has been overly compressed/limited/brickwalled... so that dynamic range is lost and everything is just LOUD!

This is one of the most beautiful songs in Genesis' massive repertoire, both lyrically and musically. The song describes the trepidation of aging so poetically that one can draw their own meaning from the song. Absolutely gorgeous. Has any other Progressive Rock band ever put so much emotion ...

It's impossible to keep from grooving to this song. Great Fender Rhodes and harmonies... just overall happy and content with where they are. "Everybody here is outta sight...."

For some reason I was disappointed that they did not play the ending solo. If you are going to butcher a song, you might as well butcher the whole thing. I was also impressed that they are playing in a time signature that is mathematically impossible.

Hell yeah, brother. That bass line takes that awesome riff to another level.
