About this user

I was born on 11th December, Though, accidentally, when I started my study my birth date was settled on 6th February 1971; it could be a mistake of the teacher who enrolled me or of my father. Anyway, from then on, all my academic certificates are being issued maintaining my wrong birth date. I understood it when I grew up, but it was then too late (or too tiresome) to change the birth date in my country which is Bangladesh. Well another secret reason (No more secret from now on though) of not putting an effort on this because it was / is dramatic. I like drama and the 'drama' likes me as well; so my life is dramatically full of dramas. The dramatic movements of my life play with me every now and then; they cost me terrible pain as well as good feeling of the great variety.

From my childhood thousands of professions had been attracting me, thousands of different dreams had been keeping me going towards thousand of activities and stopped me half way of many activities as well. The best Doctor, the best Tennis Player, the best Politician, the best Philosopher and many other 'Bests' in the world moved around my dream all the time.

Finally and dramatically I have involved with art and literature and have been surprisingly continuing till now. Even in art and literature I never have bound myself in one faculty but have been working in many faculties - acting, writing, filmmaking etc (even in every individual faculty I go for variety; for example, in terms of filmmaking I make both documentary and fiction; in terms of writing I write poetry, essays, criticism, scripts for stage and film, etc) --simultaneously. Though I am now confirmed that my job is basically filmmaking, since I have found myself visionary. Meanwhile I have taken Masters with commendation in Media Production from the University of Luton in the UK. And as filmmaking is the creative blend of many things, as this is the faculty where every experience of life is useful, I feel and believe that all my previous experiments with life through many activities to see the life from different points of angles will endlessly help me with filmmaking.

Forgetting all other activities to concentrate on art and literature only, I would brief myself saying that, I have been practicing since 1990. I am now a Filmmaker with skills in writing, research, acting, recitation and training. I have written scripts for stage and television, made several films, both documentary and fiction; written film analysis for national dailies and film magazines in Bangladesh and the UK. I have participated in three international film festivals. My works also have been appreciated by BBC, Screen East (The Screen Agency for the East of England) and many other high profile organizations like them.

My work has featured in several top newspapers in Bangladesh including the 'Daily Prothom Alo' and 'The Daily Independent.' My work has attracted attention of the British Press and I have been interviewed by BBC Televisions and Radios as well as appearing in the University of Bedfordshire's newspaper 'Life' and

'Noteworthy' ; the UK's newspaper 'Herald & Post' and AIM magazine.

I have become the first Bangladeshi Filmmaker in the UK history to be included in the renowned British Film Catalogue.

Now the only dream of mine is making some powerful films which will contribute the history of film-the history of mankind, I am a hardworking, dedicated and confident traveler in that dream.
