I don't think that Ron Paul is necessarily trying to win. He's setting is son up for success down the road. Rand is going to inherit a superb campaign infrastructure, millions of supporters, young people on his side, and a set of ideals. Revolutions take a while and Paul is a long term thinker.

This shows that Maher can't have an argument if referring to a reference that his audience finds amusing is off of the table. He wants to play a politically aware sophisticated individual but he is and always will be just a comedian.

I have a question, could Bill Maher stand on his own in intelligent conversation? The extent of what he can say appears to be those little 2 second snarky remarks that he says right before he looks at his audience for approval. I would like to see how long it would take for him to look like a bum...

@calumelliot Nope God didn't order the crusades. It was the higher ups in the church who said that it was good with Him. God never said that he hates homosexuals but he did say that it wasn't acceptable.

O'Donnell sounds socialist and I don't throw that word out lightly like some others. Apparently we should all be thankful for what our government does for us daily by publicly saying so.
