@Classicwaslegend I'm talking about corals, SPS are very sensitive to nitrates, also GFO needs to be replaced every 3-4 weeks otherwise it would be leaching Nitrates and Phosphates into the water.

@corallite Do better without sand but never look better without sand, and there are tonnes of succesful beautiful tanks with sand, plus sand is important for filtration and fish such as gobies, a tank without sand is like a car without wheels, barebottom is UUGGLYY.
