Hm, that doesn't sound right. What I would think is that the barrel heats up as the weapon fires; cold barrels I've been led to believe can cause variances.

If you have Traktor Pro...you can use the mapper to set up your own mappings. :D I have Flux Mode, filter and filter kills, gain, loop rolls, pitch bend range, and fader starts mapped up to my Mixtrack right now.

I forgot where I read this, but I remember reading on a forum somewhere that no one really gives a darn whether you use sync or not. There's nothing wrong with using what tools you have available to you, it's just that if you take the time to learn beatmatching then you can play on a lot more than just computers / PioneerProDJLink

I think it's interesting, how this person has essentially backed the political machine in general. To try and combat his initiative will take extensive internet regulation, file regulation, printer regulation in general, and checks are going to have to be everywhere I'm assuming. To try and ban guns now would a almost a step into totalitarianism imo. The only logical step I can see is to just quit trying to ban them, let concealed carry roam free and see where that goes.

Version 2's just came out. Crossfader is extremely smooth, almost no resistance, while pitch, gain, volume faders all have a good amount of resistance. Pots all have a good resistance too, EQ pots sit well into their middle positions.

I started to do a variation of this, it's like an abridged twirl. Holding the bite handle, it lets me get up into icepick grip with my thumb in position to sweep the latch and lock the thing down ^^

I really would jump for anything pioneer, being a mixtrack user. I just don't like the feel of the cue buttons or their positioning, and it doesn't feel as solid as I would like really. I'm living with it though, it's my first ever venture into DJ'ing and I think it's good to start with the basics.

Did the CD players you used to use offer any MIDI/HID interfacing? You could just run off that instead and probably get better controls too.

Coding is a nice, effective tool in this digital age. However, I wish they would make it clear that these guys hit it big by doing something they found fun. I find learning how to mix extremely fun, and who knows where I'll end up down the line. Other people find art fun, math fun, science fun, exciting, and stimulating. As long as you're not putting the money and achievement that everyone raves about ahead of yourself having a good time, I don't care what you do, you're going to go far.

Agreed, hah this is what DJ'ing's all about imo. Trance is trance, and them producers do a great job of mixing it, but ya gotta get outta that zone to have some fun ^^

well, you can SLI four of these things...while you can only do a quad (2 cards) with a 690.

I'd imagine it's just easier to slowly bring in the other track. The crossfader has to travel halfway to fade it in, and the channel fader has to go all the way, lets you smooth it out a bit more.

For a second I thought this was Vocaloid...amazing!
