3 BEST SINGERS OF MY GENERATION: Christina Aguilera, Beyonce Knowles, and Jennifer Hudson
Christina: The Voice of My Generation. She has one of the most beautiful voices i've ever heard and a 4-octave range. Her lower register is breathy and her falsetto/whistle notes are very light and pretty but her greatest strength is her midbelt! It is very loud and well-supported and in that region, she can sustain a note like nobody's business. Many criticize her for her lack of technique(which will def change since she's currently getting vocal lessons) and her tendency to oversing but that's her style!
Beyonce: Very underrated as a vocalist. With a well-connected range, intricate melismas, and one of the best techniques in the business, what's not to love about queen bey? Since i saw the bills bills bills video at age5, always said she was the best singer in DC and as time goes on she continues to prove me right!
Jennifer: The most soulful singer out of the trinity. She has power, vibrato, and a massive chest range not to mention tearjerking live performances. Some people get annoyed by her typical sustained G#5(or higher) towards the end of every song but if you got it flaunt it, right?
