I'm a 17 year old songwriter, I've been writing songs since I was around 13, and they've changed a lot since then, and are hopefully still improving, but that might be asking too much. I'm not very well known, as up till recently I tended to keep my songs to myself, but that's not really important, just listen to the music, you may like it, you may not, doesn't matter. (By the way, my real name's not Abe Trasken, it's Peter Wylie, that was just a pseudonym for reasons that have now become pointless)

Influences: Radiohead (mainly), Paul Simon, Pink Floyd, Tom Mcrae, Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan
Sounds Like: None of my influences, which is weird, except maybe Paul Simon. Just acoustic songs which I wouldn't really like to put into Genre form, I can hopefully add other instruments to them some day though.

Your crowd will grow and grow mate, Not sure what your school is like, but at my school ya was a hoofter if ya owned a guitar, never mind played and sang! i Wasn't just talkin about youtube (although thats what i said lol) when talkin about your writing, im talkin about music in general. 	statician1 (1 year ago) LoL, 16? ???? Fuckin hell mate, ya wanna heard the tunes i was writing at the age, nursery rhymes! I been writing from about 13 on and off, seem to go through periods were i could write everyday, for a few month, then i just lose it and wont write for a year or two, Although having a child there 3 year ago i didnt write at all. The original's i have posted here have all been wrote in the last 2 month. They are the first tunes i have felt confident enough with, and they have a bitta meaning behind them. But im writing the basic noel gallagher sorta lyrics, were i would compare your's to dylan, townshend, and thats no arse licking mate.I have watched thousands of stuff on here, and never seen anything close to your stuff. Where are ya from ? PS just noticed i wrote mate one to many times in that first message lol.
