The track really works...modulates a little late and slow....could reverse the bridge and breakdown or just cut the bridge. ....lyrics and vocal arrangement need some working ...though Tony as always...is way way cool. Thumbs up though for real

Just found this......CK puts more artistry in any single line of this song here than others put in an entire CD. Here it is, my girl graduates from pop commodity to ARTIST. What a dream it woulda been to be in the audience that night.

Damn if this isn't as good vocal arranging in pop music can possibly get. Betweem CK, Steve Ferrone, Hiram Bullock, Anthony Jackson, Robbie Buchanon, and Arif...there is a whole lot of GENIUS goin' on here. Pound for pound, "Chaka Khan" is CK's best album ever, I mean, so far.

I am a world class Chaka fan....love seeing her have fun with another great singer here.....but damn....this makes me REALLY RESPECT what a powerhouse a of classic Boz Scaggs' tune is.....bow down everyone......jewels like these don't come often.

This video has all that is great and gruesome from the eighties......spandex, metallic fabric, lotsa mousse and curl activator.......and tunes that just plain bumped the funk for real.......and don't you hear .....in the synth bass line......"Thriller"? Which came first?
