Some call me psychic. I never did. But no one could ever find me so I asked why. Someone said I wasn't using the "right" marketing term. They told me: You are psychic. I looked up the terms, just to be very clear, and I fit the description of clairsentient, empath, telepath very well. These words fit under the umbrella term "psychic".

Personally, I always saw myself as highly intuitive just because I cared about people and wanted to understand, help, heal old wounds, & jumpstart the star that I saw in people. I was a natural at this and did it for free ALL MY LIFE.

An Intuitive is someone who uses the intuition to help others in business and/or life.

Intuition is a combination of historical (empirical) data, deep and heightened observation, and an ability to cut through the thickness of surface reality. Intuition is like a slow motion machine that captures data instantaneously and hits you like a ton of bricks. Intuition is a knowing, a sensing that is beyond the conscious understanding — a gut feeling. Intuition is not pseudo-science.

I'm definately an Intuitive.
So why do I use the term psychic? Very few people would be able to find me on the Internet if I didn't AND I am psychic even though that's not my naturally preferred term for what it is that I do.

Did I have dreams of making thousands off of the tears of the vulnerable? No. I fell into becoming a professional "paid" psychic. This is a career that "chose" me and one of my personal rules is NOT to read for vulnerable people. That earns me less money until I can prove the worth of what it is that "I" do -- so be it!

Now back up four years earlier where I was quitting a lucrative corporate "analytical and logic" focused position because I had something "else" to offer the world. My soul was tired of being sucked dry of heart and I felt like I was dying inside. Sure, it was fun to use my brain but I felt like a head that didn't have a heart.

Initially I wanted to be a Web designer (hah, no jobs, no money) because it allowed me to use BOTH artistic and logic skills, and then I turned to life & business coaching (I'm a great cheerleader, questioner, ideas person, and conversationalist) but the bills piled up and I had to find something to do "right away" and it couldn't be flipping burgers, serving coffee, or being a telemarketer. Now there's nothing wrong with those jobs -- it's just that I'm too old and my body couldn't/can't take it anymore. Oh to be young again... :)

I checked out my library of "interests" and all this "metaphysical" stuff had been one. It had been a hobby I did in large part for free just because I had fun with it (Tarot parties) or because I felt great helping people (when they had problems).

In fact, I really had a hard time with the idea of taking money from people and I had to get over the "it's spiritual" thing. Heh, when you got bills piling up and you do something naturally well, you put a lot of quality effort into it, and people feel great afterwards -- "why not", I said!

I also realized I was probably supposed to do this for a living a long time ago because it wasn't hard attracting people who wanted to be read. Then again I believe everything has its time and place and is meant to happen when it does.

As soon as I decided that's what I was going to do I became healthily "obsessed" with all things metaphysical and I'm very very good at helping others (so people tell me) using paranormal tools like Tarot, Astrology, Numerology, & your Palm.

In fact, I like to call myself a "reader" sometimes but then other times I don't because I'm doing more than just "reading". *shrug*

Anyway, I have been watching some anti-psychic videos and I totally understand where it's coming from. I just hope to bring something different to the YouTube community for consideration and intellectual discussion. Of course during my journey I'm likely to meet some hostile wankers *grin* but that's just part of Internt life. Thank you! Namaste.

p.s. Please don't think I have "the" gift or that I have "powers" that you never could have. That is total hogwash in my opinion!!
