The following is the Mission Statement for the Yemeni American Public Affairs Council: The Yemeni American Public Affairs Council is a non-profit organization entrusted to educate, integrate, and advocate on behalf of the general public and specifically those of Yemeni American heritage. This is done by shaping public policy and opinion through engagement of decision makers in government, institution, media, and public at large. The YAPAC is entrusted to represent the Yemeni American community and help build bridges that are long overdue. Our strength is our networking ability and one of largest growing community. Due to our community size, it has awakened and risen to the challenge and believes in the need for integration and assimilation in the American system and way of life. As a natural manifestation of that awareness a collective effort has taken place. Now unified under an umbrella organization, YAPAC will take our community to a new frontier and maximize our public advantage.
