I'm a girl who really, really LOVES music. And hoop dance is the way in which I FEEL music. I'm a visual artist as well as a hoop dancer, and I try to combine both of my artistic passions with my intense love for music to create my own image of meditational bliss, which I find through hooping. I believe that hoop dance is perhaps the most gratifying form of expression that I have come across, and I hold on to it with dear life-my hoops are my most prized possessions and they get me through the good times and the bad. I have 4 as of right now, and their names are Blue Magic, Van Helsing, Billie Jean, and Flashdance. I consider my hoops to be my friends; they all have different personalities and I like them all for different reasons. Call me a weirdo, freak, or what you may, but this is what I love!
