I saw the 1950 live telecast of the opening of the Bing era and "Don Carlo". Fedora Barbiari was Eboli. I remember the images more than the singing....I was in second year high school.
Merrill and Bjoerling, I remember in the 1st act. In 1950 this was all new music.
