Yeah, it does look as if Dean managed to give Colette a peck on the nose. I was surprised that they even kissed at all, given how upset Colette was with Dean. All of a sudden she was friendly with Dean and smiling at him again. Not that I'm complaining.

I noticed it as well. At least at this point Colette was speaking to Dean again, although it felt a bit creepy that Dean was waiting for her, especially after he'd told her that he would leave her alone.

I don't think Dean bought Colette's claim that Kate was taking her clothes off, judging from the expression on his face. Ted and Sanjeev did, though.

She had tickets to a Beatles concert and crumpled them up at the very end of the episode.

I wonder if Colette said anything to Ginny in the ladies room. Granted at this point, Dean and Colette are still just friends.

This has the original background song, Mac the Knife, an obvious reference to Maggie being reinstated from her grounding.

This is only the second time Dean has ever addressed Kate directly.

At this point, Bridget doesn't know that Dean and Colette are more than just friends.

Colette's worst fear has been realized. The thing is, she knew all about Dean and Bridget and that this could happen. Why, then, did she pursue Dean in the first place?

I remember when n/b A trains would crawl past 23rd. You could see each individual I-beam. The s/b express run was always brisk.

"City Subway" was one of several Newark streetcar routes. It's the only one thet survived. Perhaps no one saw any need to rename it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

We went on that boat ride on July 22, 1965 while on vacation from Indiana. There was no live band, so we're not in this film. Two years later we moved to New Jersey and trips to New York became commonplace. I went on that ride 11 years later with relatives from Montreal.

I rode on that last Redbird trainset a few weeks earlier while in the city. 9316 was the R-33 single. Oh and speaking of that last prewar revenue trip in 1977, it was a J, or as I like to call it, a Curly. The QJ became the J in 1973.

This confirms that Colette and Dean weren't exactly strangers. She knows all about Bridget.

Interesting how Colette didn't put the headset on, but just held one speaker to her ear. She was indispensible in this episode.

Just before this exchange, Dean decides to do a little flirting of his own: "I'm surprised you haven't asked to take you home." "Oh, the night is young." I like the way he treats Colette - he's a total gentleman.

Colette remembered Dean's skepticism in Unscheduled Departure when Dean told Ted to drive the Jeep: "Is that what you're worried about, my driving?"

They've probably all noticed it, especially the eye contact and the way Colette always smiles at Dean.

Did anyone else notice how Dean didn't jump all over Colette after she overruled him? As captain, he had full authority to put her in her place and was within his right to do so. One of several possibilities here: a) he already had enough to worry about and figured he'd let it slide; b) once ...
