I have been afraid to receive, timid to even hear of it, to touch, or be vulnerable to know I am. So I avoided it but rather I never understood the value of my existence to be known and to be loved. I ran from Him and I hid in the approval of what others said over my life. Without my knowledge of it I sought love in all of the misguided places but there I turned around empty simply empty of everything I thought I had. I did not believe that I was already treasured and loved and that I didn't have to earn it and I can not loose it.

I can not produce love on my own because to love in truth and in light is birthed out of my relationship with Christ because He IS. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. (1 Corinthians 13:12) Love is truth and it is not a concept, it is not mere kindness, or the rosy-feeling you get, love IS God and all things were created and exist through Him and in and for Him. (Colossians 1:16) It is as fierce as the grave and pours it's entire life into another's because love is not a piece of your life or part of it but the entire wholeness of it without the expectation of receiving it back.

Love is to be vulnerable, to be stripped of all of the possessions in your mind, to have nothing but Christ nothing but who He purely is. Love is passion it is an all consuming fire that never burns or lets out. Love overcomes and is more strong than all that may be going on in your life. We do not have to strive no longer, we can rest in what Jesus won for us, we can lay in the security that we forever are firmly His, loved, treasured, alive, free, and it is always, always here as we are eternally His.

Do our hearts know something we don't? Conspiring, converging without giving us any say. You could be the thief I give the key to, It fits in your hand like the water in rain. Rather than wait 'til I put me out for the taking You're breaking into my heart and I'm letting you.
