It is time that Diaspora boycotts Armenia.

As a Diasporan, I am not only pissed at Armenia's corrupt regime but also its people who stood by to see the protocol being signed.

GLENDALEIn the aftermath of President Serzh Sarkisians visit to Los Angeles, more than a dozen Armenian youth from the Stop the Protocols Campaign have initiated a hunger strike in front of the Armenian Consulate of Los Angeles.

The hunger strike, which began at midnight on October 6 with a candle light vigil and opening prayer, attracted over a hundred people who came in support of the 28 youth who would be fasting for 4 days in opposition to the protocols.

The participants, standing in solidarity with hunger strikers in Armenia, are calling on the government of Armenia to stop the detrimental and one-sided Protocols between Armenia and Turkey. They have vowed to maintain their hunger strike in an effort to prevent the administration in Yerevan from signing these flawed documents.

LOS ANGELES, CA More than 12,000 Armenian Americans from throughout California converged on the Beverly Hilton Hotel to protest the Turkey-Armenia protocols as Armenia President Serzh Sargsyan met with representatives of Armenian American org...anizations to defend his decision to sign the flawed documents. The protest was organized by the Stop The Protocols Campaign.


Blockades and guardrails contained protesters who held signs proclaiming, 'Serzh Dont Betray the Armenian People', 'Turkey Accept the Genocide!' and 'No to the Protocols!' Meanwhile, planes overhead were carrying banners which stated 'Stop Turkish-Armenian Protocols', as large moving vans drove around the hotel with billboards picturing presidents Sargsyan and Gul with the slogan 'Dont Betray us'.Read More
