Both him and Ron Paul are constantly being picked on by the mainstream media. Gingrich is mostly being trashed, Ron Paul is just flat out ignored. It shows how the media wants to push you towards what they think is the best candidate, instead of letting you (yourself) decide.

I had the same problem. You have to update massive to version 1.15. You are probably using an older version, which indeed gives this error. You find updates on the website of native Instruments.
