Wow! I remember this song. I was born in the early 70s. Things during this time were different; however, people then were still facing problems. For instance, Rick James was having legal problems and dealing with coming out of prison. But Rick made it big with cuts like this one.

At 7:14 That lady reminds me of when their were about 3 ushers trying to control someone who was overcome by the spirit. They probably would take her out years ago because she immediately went to the door.

Brings back so many memories like in 1985 or 1986 at Lighthouse Church of God in Christ in DAllas Texas. I heard this song for the first time one Spring Sunday at Lighthouse where Elder Edward Calloway was the pastor.

This is a true COGIC song. At most Bishop's churches this song is sung by the choir at least one time. I love the Lord and all churches, but the church of God in Christ has so much spice!!!

My God this brings back so many memories at Temple. Sis. Holmes, Sis. Lena Jones, Sis. Bulah Sims, Mother Hampton, Sis. Jessie Rian, Sis. Jones, Sis. Sudell Williams, Sis. Jacie Matthews, Brother Crudup, Sis. McCrimmon, Sis. Spears, Mother Williams, and the list goes on

This was one of the classiest COGIC churches ever visited. There was a sense of perfection and excellence back in the day at New Bethel. Does anyone know the year of this video

My God, I can't quit listening to this. 8:09 to about 8:27 sounds like a contemporary version of the song. My God this track is so beautiful. I just believe that God is pleased with this one!
