Salam I'm an Arab and proud of it
but not proud of what the Arabs made.
The Prophet Muhammad (Pbuhahf) asked us to respect, to protect, to love and to follow his Family (Ahl al Bayt) and not to curse them, torture them and kill them.
Sadly this is what happened for all of them except the Mahdi who is hidden now and will return by the grace of Allah along Jesus who will confirm his status of Imam.
This tragedy was the beginning of the misguidance of the major part of the community (Ummah).
The Prophet of Allah warn us in many occasions to take good care of his progeny and take them as reference on the the matter of our religion, as they were purified by God himself, and not break the link with them.
But they were betrayed and killed from jealous evils people self called muslims (Munafiqun) .
I encourage every one who calls himself a muslim or a believer even if he's against Shi3a Islam to use the 2 gifts Allah gaved to each of us : Brain & Heart to reconnect the pieces of the puzzle.
Your tools would be Qur'an, History, Hadiths (validated by the 2 majors groups first), and also all the Scriptures from God.
With all that you will be able to settle a common ground for your beliefs and separate Truth which is one from lies which are many.
Note : not every called "sahih" are Sahih not every called "sadiq" are Sadiq, not every companions are on the same league as we tend to think, the people around the Prophet was not from Wonderland, they will be all subject to the judgement of Allah at the end of time, so you got to study every part of the life of someone you're fallow, you can't fallow anyone who's not mentioned by God or the Prophet.
