About this user

I am a proud American and fervent Zionist. I used to believe in the creation of a Palestinian State as a solution to the Arab/Israeli conflict. However, with the election of Hamas (which according to its Charter seeks to destroy Israel and kill all the Jews...Hamas Charter is online for all to read), I am now convinced that most Palestinians do not wish to coexist. This is depressing because such extremism means endless war. I hope one day Palestinians will love their children more than they hate Israel and Jews. Both sides have valid claims to the land and deserve to live in peace and freedom. The conflict is not black and white. There is injustice on both sides, but Palestinian extremism and terrorism will only lead to more bloodshed.

Debunking Palestinian myths and supporting a two state solution based on respect and mutual coexistence. Justice for Jews and Muslims will only come if religious fanatics on both sides are overpowered by secular moderates willing to make painful sacrifices for PEACE.

Interests

This conflict is not about the so called Israeli "occupation" of Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). Before 1967 and the start of the so called "occupation" there was no peace. This conflict is really about an end to Jews being an oppressed minority living on Arab colonized land and suffering from Muslim oppression. It is about the Arabs' refusal to accept the legitimate rights of the Jewish people to self-determination in their historical homeland on which they have continuously lived, with very short exceptions, for over 3,000 years (despite repeated attempts at ethnic cleansing by the Romans, Christians, and most recently Muslims). Don't believe the myth that before 1948 Muslims loved the Jews. Under Islamic rule, Jews have always been 2nd class citizens. If the Palestinians want war...then war they will get. If they agree to live in peace next to Israel in their own state, and are willing to make difficult compromises, then Israel will make peace. Until that day, the blood of the children of Palestine is on the hands of Palestinian extremists. Since Camp David II when Arafat rejected the incredibly generous Israeli offer of a Palestinian State in 98% of the West Bank, all of Gaza, and half of Jerusalem as the capital...Israel no longer has any moral or legal culpability for the current state of affairs. Every Palestinian and Israel death now is a total waste...as Israel has already offered Palestinians what they claim to be fighting for...and they have rejected it. I suspect because what they really are fighting for is not their own state, but rather to end the Jewish State of Israel. NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE! GOD BLESS ISRAEL AND ALL PALESTINIANS WHO WISH TO LIVE IN PEACE!
