About this user

I've been drumming since I was 12 so that's somewhere around a decade now. I've played in a couple of bands and had some gigs in the past but nothing very professional. I've accumulated some 100+ hours of studio-time with these bands doing all of these projects and helping friends out when they needed a drummer (and will probably keep doing so).

The reason I'm here making videos is because I think of drumming (other than the world's most awesome instrument) as part musicianship part showmanship. To make a long story short, drums to me as much a musical instrument as they are a source of entertainment. I love playing gigs because I enjoy entertaining people making them tap their feet to the beat - or bang their heads (which is more likely considering the music we played). Now that I don't get to gig so much, I hope I'll find a new kind of audience here with which I can share my work!

I know this kind of videos is more appealing to drummers than just the average person or musician out there, but I believe drums, being the instrument they are, could also fascinate anyone who at least likes music. I'm having a blast and I hope you'll find my stuff entertaining / inspiring / educating in some manner.

On a sidenote: The songs I choose for my drum covers aren't nescessarily of my favorite style of music, and I don't want to get into all that "good" music VS "bad" music discussion.. I pick these songs because they're great fun jamming to and I like experimenting with different styles of playing so... yeah.
