I'm having problem my 8hp older generator. Starts at idle then revs up high for a few seconds then governs back down and dies, like fuel starvation. I have an in line filtler and can see fuel & air in it. Should I blow out line back through the tank shut-off? I had the carb apart (thanks to you:-) and repalace gaskets & cleaned float.
Just went through 5 days of cold without power while this gen sat in shed.
Can you help?
Cast iron Briggs & straton just like in your carb video.
