About Me:
I try to be the best I can be, but I don't play in tournaments or any official competitive events. I basically play for fun, but a lot of the fun comes from winning, which is one of the things that drive me to improve.
I have extremely high expectations of myself and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I'm also a pretty bad loser because of it. I know I have the capacity to be competitive and anything less is extremely frustrating for me.
Super Turbo/HD Remix is my favourite game, and I use Ken, Zangief and Dhalsim. Ken is my main character, Zangief is a character I play for fun but am actually decent with, and I like Dhalsim, but I don't think he will ever be the same standard as my Ken or Zangief.
I like the challenge in using Ken. He's one of the most commonly used characters, and gets a lot of stick as a "scrub character", but that's what drives me to improve. To show that he's a good character and can be dangerous when used correctly. I have some weak matchups, but I think on the whole, I can manage a good mix of zoning, footsies, rushdown or turtling.
My main downfall is lack of patience, which often ruins my turtling game, and leads to stupid random moves (the Ken player curse I am trying to get rid of).
I enjoy watching Aniken and Mattsun. Two very different styles of play, and while I don't want to become a carbon copy of them, I'd like to take elements from both of their styles, of what I think is effective, and add it to my game, kind of like how Bruce Lee took elements from other martial arts to create Jeet Kune Do.
