drummer and vocalist in my revived band "the killerdudes".

many of my friends and family have asked me why my face isn't on many clips and if its on purpose. yes, it is -you're not worthy of seing my face! nah, kidding. the real reason is the small camera. if i stepped back far enough for you to see my face like on my older uploads, you cant really see what i'm playing. and if i get closer to the cam so you can see what i'm playing.....yep, you got it. ;)

all my songs i do by ear. so if you have tabs or you know how to REALLY play some of my uploads, and mine are off a bit, it's beacuse i did it all by ear. a few reasons for this:
1) i'm left-handed, as you see. all tabs are written to enlighten the lifes of right-handers. if you don't agree, thats cause you're a righty and you've never had the issue.
2) 95% of all bands i play are so underground and unknown that most songs, if any at all, aren't even posted or tabbed. thats the problem with liking pure punkrock!
3) in the very slim case that i DO find the song i'm looking for, the poster did such a f***ed up job with it that i'm better off teaching myself the song. i have yet to find a tabbed song that is complete, acurate und understandable for me as a lefty. (see point 1! )

i have quite my own style of playing bass. generally i combine guitar techniques along with drum-like style sound effects while playing since, after all, bass is the connection between guitar and drums. i usually use rapid downstrokes (the "buzzsaw-technique", like johnny ramone) exept for really fast surf-like songs. often i play guitar parts, like simple fill-ins or solos along with chords. and very often slides. depending on the song, it takes me an average of 1-3 minutes to learn a song and if its really simple, i improvise myself a bit.

i'm looking into uploading some german underground-punk. these dudes are pretty wicked and deserve just as much attention as those mainstream-poser bands. you just need to fish them out of my uploads... ;)
