Yeah I can follow you on that part spoony prettyt much lost most of his fans this way but he does now and then deliver something robust and funny on his website, recently he did a review on FFX and I thought that one was realy funny but yeah wrestling must be hand fed to you as a babby or I fear you can never grow to like it like you and me ;)
I never played the DS version just the on the SNES, I do intend to buy Earthbound one of these days.
