The Travel Stick is a little on the short side to hit your shoulders and upper back. You can try jamming it into a wall and rolling out your traps. The Body Stick would be the perfect Stick for your upper body as it has more length. I would be interested in seeing more upper body The Stick videos. I have a Travel Stick and it is awesome for my legs, but haven't found a way to use it effectively on my upper body without a partner -- EXCEPT for my forearms, which it is incredibly useful for.
