Here it is ZONTOX is the One Man Metal Project founded by aspiring Musicician/Actor and Martial Artist Tim Spriggs. Tim was born on November 7th 1983 in the small town of Stawell/Australia. Being raised in Halls Gap this half Filipino blooded Australian has over 10 years of musical experience in writing, performing and producing his and other peoples music. Drawing from such influences as Machine Head, Meshuggah, Pantera, Deftones, Down and The Haunted, Tim has taken what once was just a hobby and is in the midst of turning it into a career. What does ZONTOX mean? As Tim puts it The Name itself has no origin, it was just a completely random word I put together. Some bands base their sound around their name, I want the music to give the word a meaning!. With the success of the ZONTOX demo, widespread radio airplay and a well received reception over the internet already, Tim is gearing up for the release of three albums under three different solo projects for 2009. One being a self-titled rock project, the others namely being ZONTOX and SPRIGGSEY (Psycho Electronica). What can you expect from the ZONTOX album? Tim says basically I'm going to take every band that has ever influenced me, mix them together in a pot, add my own little spice while staying true to myself!. What truth these words hold, you'll just have to wait and see!

Tim Spriggs is an aspiring Musician/Actor and Martial Artist currently in the process of working on three solo albums. One being a self-titled rock project, the others namely ZONTOX (heavy metal) and SPRIGGSEY (Psycho Electronica). Tim was born in Australia on November 7th 1983, in the town of Stawell. Being half Filipino in heritage, Tim was raised in the small town of Halls Gap and currently resides in Melbourne/Australia. Drawing from such musical influences as Pantera, Machine Head, Down, Meshuggah, Nirvana, A Perfect Circle, Deftones and Tool, Tim is making plans to release all three of his albums in 2009. Taking the helm of not only guitar and singing duties, but also recording and producing the entirety of his songs, Tim has been quoted as saying When it comes down to it, with these projects member changes won't be an issue, the music will be around for as long as I will be!. With an evident mixture of influences combined with his own twist, Tim will take his music out into the live scene with some fill in members shortly after the releases.
