I am originally from the San Fernando Valley in California, yes, I know...I'm a valley girl. My family moved here in Irving, Texas after the 1972 earthquake...where I still reside. My friends call me Sunshine a nickname given to me by a friend who said that every time I walk into a room I always bring a ray of sunshine through my never ending smile and happy fun loving attitude and that I make the best friend. I am a very caring, loving and loyal person who lives life to the fullest. I truly love life, it is a gift that I cherish. I love healthy foods, hot and spicy is a plus...oh, and dark chocolate I cant forget that! My hobbies are beading, home floor planning, furniture designing and home decorating. I am divorced and a mother of two grown children. My son is in the Marines, who has been in for over ten years now and plans to retire from the Marines in a few more years. He has served three terms in Iraq and is now getting ready to deploy to Japan for the next three years. I also have a daughter in the medical field and an Animal Behaviorist & Trainer. She is married and has a little boy of her own. I am so very proud of both of them!
