I thought of this remix whilst going through the great soundtrack to Sonic CD and paired up the two haunting tunes. However after I did this remix, it occured that MixerProductions has already done this, therefore he should get credit for the idea first:)...Plus there is no harm of having another version of the remix on Youtube:)
Both tracks have a haunting backdrop to it, making it in someways compliment each other.

The game footage is from the hack "Sonic the hedgehog remix" and of course the Sega Megadrive game Moonwalker.
Apologies if the sound is too low as there seems to be a problem with my PC regarding sound at the moment..
