Which software do you use?
I work with "Audacity". It's freeware, you can download it on the internet.
How do you make your instrumentals?
Import the original mp3 and use the vocal removal tool. I also adjust equalizer setting to optimize the instrumental track.
It doesn't work!!
The vocal removal tool only works on tracks with center panned vocals. And even on center panned vocals, the tool won't work 100% perfectly. That's why you can still hear the original singer. But if you sing along, you probably won't notice it.
