What up fam, it's ya boi Yung Symba. My home's in Indiana but right now i'm in VA for school. I've had a love for hip hop ever since I was young. I first started hearing it when my cousin would always be playing it out loud on his stereo in the morning before school. That's when hip hop, as well as a lot of other genres, really began to stick with me. Fast forward to high school and that's when I started to take writing raps a lot more serious. At first I used to do secular rap, but that changed when I gave my life to Christ when I was 16. I still had my love for hip hop, but my love for Christ became greater at that moment. That's when I started to use my music as a way to reach out to people and tell them about the gospel and about God's love for them. Currently I am at Liberty University studying Youth Ministry. Kingdom Mentality, May 19.

BEHIND THE NAME: Yung Symba simply means yung lion. The name Simba itself means lion. Today in this world with so many ungodly things going on, i want take a stand and stay strong in the faith. As a growing Christian i want to take on that leadership, courage, and strength such as a lion while i'm serving God and reaching out to a lost world no matter what may come my way.
