Born in Brooklyn but raised in Queens, New York, PR began rapping at the age of 18. After being brought to the studio and recording his first track, PR knew music was his passion.

Through special connections, in 2008, PR was granted the opportunity to become a part of Bad Boy Entertainment's Street Team. As a member of the Street Team, PR attended various of the label's events and tours allowing the rapper to gain a better understanding of the music industry. Importantly, his involvement enabled him to network and make valuable connections. Working for the label also provided PR with a greater desire to pursue his own music aspirations.

After graduating from QueensBorough Community College in 2009, as a music major, PR proceeded to build his own studio. He was also able to use his engineering skills to produce his own music. By the end of 2009, PR dropped his first mixtape alongside his long time friend and rapper, Bize AKA Da Biznezzz, which was named "Bize vs PR The Remix." Following the mixtape's success, both PR and Bize decided to create their own team, Prospect Dynasty, which now consists of other rappers throughout the nation. In May of 2010, Prospect Dynasty released another mixtape called "Prospect Dynasty Presents the Remix 2."

At this point, PR felt it was time he worked on a solo project. In August 2010, PR released a mixtape called "Mood Swingz," which features the singles Caught Up, Dont Let Go, and Tonight's The Night. To date, the mixtape has over 10,000 digital downloads. Acknowledging his accomplishments so far, this is just the beginning for PR.
