About this user

Dominican born, Sahari, is a professional Middle Eastern dancer, with more than 6 years of training under her belt. She has been teaching for over 3 years. Her training includes mentorships, classes and intense workshops with famous and experienced dancers such as Serena Wilson, Zenaide, Shamira Nawal, Suhaila Salimpour, Tarik, Amaya, Amira, Dondi, Bellydance Superstar Sonia and Shareen El Safy. Her style is whats commonly known as American Cabaret, but she is also an ethno-fusion dancer. Sahari has developed a unique style; what she calls BellyLatin Fusion, a mix of different Latin rhythms and dance steps with bellydance. She has performed at many theatrical shows, festivals, fundraisers, recitals and special events through out Hawaii, NYC and Connecticut. Sahari has been featured in Hawaii and Connecticuts newspapers, The Honolulu Advertiser, Star Bulletin, The Middletown Press, The Thames River Press and The Groton Times as well as on TV and radio (KHON Morning News Channel 2 and Tiny TV Oceanic Channel 16/95.5 FM radio). Sahari currently resides in New London County, Connecticut, where she performs and teaches in various towns around the area.

I am in love with oriental dance...when I dance I fill the emptiness in my soul...I experience ecstasy...
I let originality define my stylebut if I had to describe it Ill say my style leans more towards American Cabaret/Latin Fusion. Do know that I dont want to be a cloneI just let my body express the music in its own comfortable wayI am simply me :)

PS. There are lots of people that feed on negativity...I can just feel sorry for them since they must have a pretty lame life...no other words can describe when someone has nothing better to do with their precious time than just waste it on the internet making negative/hurtful comments to others to just to feel better about themselves..."Didnt your mama teach you if you dont have something nice to say, dont say it at all?"
