I loved this storyline. But of course, they had to get rid of it. This one was extremely good. This scene was perhaps one of the last great scenes on the show. It began declining in quality in 2008.

Jill, innocent? Are you telling me Katherine was the one who was responsible for the break-up of her marriage. So for over 30 years she lied, saying Jill was responsible.

These events were in April 1979. At the time the Derek Thruston events occured. As a result of this stabbing, Katherine was sent to a sanitarium. She eventually escaped and achieved her second victory against Jill (the first was the case involving Jill's marriage annulment).

Brenda Dickson was good in first potrayal of Jill between 1973-1981, but became too flashy and arrogant in her second potrayal between 1983-1987.

Jill only acts like this when her mother is around. Once Liz is gone, Jill becomes a snubby, hateful bitch, who makes enemies of other chracters and provokes agression in the community. She had used Jack for her own uses and blackmailed John into giving her money and a position in Jabot.

The Young and the Restless had a more developed and realistic storyline in the 70s and 80s. The quality started to decline in the late 90s, and today, the story is unrealistic and filled with so many of these new actors.

Did Jill ever find out Katherine Chancellor was the one behind the pictures which caused John Abbott to suffer a stroke and divorce Jill? And also, Jill's a miserable bitch, then and now, who trys to hurt everybody.

You're right. Catherine the Great annexed Latvia, Lithuania, most of Poland and Belarus, as well large parts of Ukraine and the Northern Caucaus. She did NOT annex Central Asia.
