My name is Ethan Tobin. I'm 13 years old and I live in a small town called Northboro. I was born at Framingham Hospital on November, 6, 1997. That day was one of the happiest days for my parents.
After my birth I had moved a few times. First into a small white house. Then into a duplex on Assabet Hill. And now I live in a brown mixed house.
At age 8, I started to get into music. Specifically rock. My brothers Richie and Kyle got me into AC/DC and Dave Matthews. In fact I still like Dave Matthews today. In 3rd grade my main dream was to be a Rockstar. I attempted many times to get a small band together but at the time I was only 9 years old, nobody was old enough to handle the commitment. But for some reason I kept the idea of being a muscian in my head.
Everything changed when I was in 6th grade. I was 12 and realized my new love for rap music. My friends started to listen so I joined finding it an enjoyable style of music. But because I listened, I unlocked an inner talent inside of me. Writing rap music. In 6th grade reading classes, when we could have free writing, I began writing music. It went on until at 135 Park in Northboro my friends asked me to rap for them while hanging out. So I freestyled whatever came to mind and it ended up being well put. My friends told me that I should take the skill to the next level and try to go big. I kept this in mind for a long time. And daily I began writing new lyrics, hoping for something epic and especially entertaining.
In 7th grade I started to write more realistic lyrics. I always knew that because of past events, lost friends, breakups with girlfriends, that I suffered occasional depression. So instead of being a writer about cars, money, weed, and fame, I realized I should rap about how I feel. So as inspiration, I started to listen to Biggie Smalls and 2pac. I ended up using alot of inspirational ways both 2pac and Biggie used in lyrics for my own use. After making most of my normal songs that passed, I wrote my first actual song I felt proud of, "Mastermind". This is when I ended up recording with my producer, Mike Upton who I met through school.
From then on I'm creating original music. Although I find beats online at random, I honestly will tell you that my lyrics are written by me. All from my inspiration....life.
