@TheVideoVector He already mentioned something important in the video called the "conservation of dollars" which states that a business isn't willing to put more money into a project than it has to.
Concentrating sunlight seems to be cheaper than researching the replication of photosynthesis.

@BubbaThing All the previous ones had free play modes. You could configure so many little details (that I do not remember) like resource scarcity, enemy difficulty, land variety, etc... In Anno 1404 Venice, you could free play with friends online as well.

@AirsoftPractice Did you even watch the video? Corporations sponsor members of congress, presidents with campaign contributions, and they sponsor legislation for their own corporate interests. Government is a tool currently run by corporations. It needs to be controlled and regulated by the people.
