I think that with a base price between $6 000 and $8 000 less than the Mustang GT and the 370Z the Genesis 3.8 is a good alternative.

Had a similar problem with my BP engine.
Exhaust cam came loose, damaged the cam pully and pin on the cam.
Grinded the edge it made on the pulley, tighten the pulley tightly and now it's ok.
A misadventure that had the advantage of saving on adjustable cam pulleys to retard my exhaust cam a few d...

114lbs/ft @ 4500rpm
As soon as you go above 6500 you start losing power even if the fuel cut-off is at 7500rpm
