Hey Bro ... sounds like you need to adjust the tremolo springs in the rear just a little - also, many people go for size 10 strings for beefy sound, but most of those I know who really do a lot of bends use 9s or even 8s! I went from 10s to 9s. I would suggest going with 9s, and lubricate the top of the metal saddles with just a little 3-in-one oil before replacing the strings.
