The exteriors of many homes in the historic DePaul / Sheffield neighborhood of Chicago give few clues as to what lies within.

Join Prudential Rubloff's Joanne Nemerovski for a tour of 2049 North Kenmore, which was recently listed for sale at just under $2 million.

The home was designed by architect Marcel Freides who was responsible for many unusually creative adaptations of 19th-century Chicago homes in Lincoln Park and the Gold Coast.

	pete6677 (2 months ago) I don't know why anyone would buy a Chicago condo right now. Sure, prices have fallen a little bit but they've got a LONG way to go. Inventories are huge, and will only get bigger since new buildings are still being built left and right. It is SO much cheaper to rent the same thing right now, and will stay that way for years to come.

	Imerica1 (2 years ago) Yo Chicago, Thanks for the reports on the coming up of our neighborhoods. I'm not there right now, we're stationed in California but my husband and i were born and raised there before he went into the military. We plan to move back after he retires in 4 years. I wish our City-folk had actually done this when I was coming up, when the signs of the urban neighborhoods going down were just being seen. Thanks again.
