born 1959 in Savoy

1978: Baccalauréat with mention at the Lycée Jean Monnet of Cognac, first exhibition in the museum of the city (reported on FR3-TV)
1984: Studies at the Vienna "Art School" being a student of Prof. Hans Escher, Prof. Fritz Martinz and Dr. Dieter Schrage
1988: He becomes a member of the "Académie du Bailly de Suffren" at St. Tropez (President: Simone Carrat, disciple of Dunoyer de Segonzac)
1989: First prize for abstract Painting by the Dauphin's Art Gallery and the Lions Club de Grimaud presided over by Jean-Paul Cleren on the occasion of the 14th Grand Prix de Peinture de Ste Maxime,
1990: He becomes a member of "La Maison des Artistes" (Paris)

Numerous exhibitions in the south of France (St.Tropez, Ste Maxime, Montpellier, la Garde Freinet, Marseille) and abroad (Austria, Italy, Romania, Japan).
Study trips to London, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Davos, Wien, Budapest, Pecs, Bratislava, Bucuresti, Triest, Florenz, Barcelona, in the Haute-Provence and in the Charente.

Since 1996 entirely devoted to the computer and the internet.
With the use of the new technologies Ymo would like to combine tradition and modernity.

His concern: The thematic content is just the colour in the sense that there are neither cultural nor political nor existential connotations. The colour is the foundation of thinking, the ur-alphabet of the human spirit. The external shape is for me very important, therefore the long search for the forms and structures. Life is naked, life needs a shell structure. The nature of things is in a constant veiling process.

Current artistic focus: Film, video compositing, photography, animation, 3D Modeling, 3D Design & Graphics, Sound Treatment - Keyboard.

Leitmotiv: SMS: Space Motion Speed.

Mit Film, TV, Video und digitaler Kunst ist das Bild in das Gebiet der Poesie und Musik eingetreten. Die bewegten Film- und Videobilder sind der Musik genauso nahe wie der Malerei. Die klassische Ästhetik war allerdings aufgrund der jahrhundertelangen Hegemonie der Malerei so wirksam, dass die Museen der modernen Kunst sich noch im 20. Jahrhundert den eigentlichen Errungenschaft der Kunst verschlossen: der Bewegungs- und Zeitproblematik. Eine fortschrittliche Institution wie Google You Tube mit ihrer weltbekannten Filmabteilung, setzt einen Schritt in die adäquate Richtung und ich möchte dafür recht herzlich danken.
