We need your help to pass a bond measure for Lane Community College.
On November 4, you and other local voters will have the chance to support Lane Community College and the unique and vital role it plays in our community. By approving Lane Community Colleges bond-extension measure, you will allow the college to continue offering an affordable way for students to begin their college education and for laid-off workers and high school graduates to obtain advanced vocational and technical retraining services which only Lane Community College provides in our community.
No new taxes. This measure will replace a 1995 bond which will be paid off before the new bond is assessed. The estimated annual cost to property owners is 25 cents per $1,000, which would be virtually unchanged from what property owners are currently paying for the 1995 bonds.
