About Yellow Mongoose Girl . . ♥
Welcome! My name is Shaylee. I have created this account to try and educate people about the Yellow Mongoose, a cousin of the better-known meerkat.
For those of you who don't know, the yellow mongoose is an African animal that mostly occupies scrub-lands and semi-deserts. They are omnivorous, eating insects, rodents, reptiles, snakes, arthropods and (rarely) plant matter. They live in family groups, but prefer to hunt alone, and are mostly active during cool evenings. A lot of this animal's life remains a mystery. My goal is to educate others about this rarely heard-of critter, learn more about its life-style and share its unseen beauty with the world.
