I found it quite disturbing. Her sneering and studied pretense of tolerance hint at a person who's simply unable to be herself. The lack of real, actual human reactions makes it a pointless exercise. No sense in talking to a posture, to an obviously fake stance, mainly when it's come to discussin...

This has to be one of the best guitar solos ever (1:52 to 2:08), and it barely lasts for 15 seconds! So much music in such a short time!

Great bass playing by Gail Ann Dorsey. Bowie's singing very well too, and I love the way he often forgets the lyrics - it all adds to a wonderful sense of authenticity and spontaneity. Look out all you rock and rollers!!! Such a classic.

David Bowie's presence on stage is so riveting that we often forget about how great his band usually is. This one is no exception: there's some amazing bass-playing by Gail Ann Dorsey here - she alternates the melodic lines with very creative, syncopated chords. As for Bowie, no comments: he's so...

This tour was such a treat. A lot of songs he hadn't played for a good deal of time returned to the setlist, like "Changes", for instance. The line-up was great, the arrangements were quite original, creative and very diferent from the studio versions. And, of course, he's singing just wonderfull...

To my taste, this is one of Paul's best live performances. It was the last time - at least that I can think of - he played the bass with such groove and cleverness. The live vocals are way better than in the studio version, and the song sounds overall better here than on the album. The bit at 3:1...

George's singing and playing were so distinctive, and his songs have such a mellow, delicate quality to them that it's impossible for me not to stop and listen to him whenever his songs or distinctive solos are playing.

Man, this guy could sing. Queen was a great band, all the guys are very talented, but Mercury was in a league of his own. The bit from 2:16 to 2:29 is magical. I remember watching this when I was a kid - I wasn't very much into Queen, but the guy won me over immediately.

The mullet-kimono age is unsurpassable as far as Paul's solo career is concerned. He sings this song so beautifully. The footage from 1:49 on is wonderful and we're able to see how much at ease he was on stage, playing with the lines and having a whole lot of fun.

I love this tune. And George had such a sweet and soothing voice that even after many years I still can't help but stop to listen to him whenever his songs are playing. Everything he played had such a delicate, mellow quality to it, and his playing is so distinctive. He's always going to be sorel...

This is a great tune. I recently read a guide to each and every Beatles's song and the author quoted Lennon belittling the song, and some make a lot out of it. By the time Lennon did that remark, his mindset had changed, he had already moved on and was much more interested in building his solo ca...

The bit from 1:00 to 5:00: is seriously one of the most poignant and powerful statements I've read or listen to in a long time. It's just wonderful, by far the best interview of the whole program. Darwin deserves to be celebrated by such a deep intellect.
