What a great music. I heard Berlioz first time when I was about 10 years old. Radio was playing uplifting and pompous music that turned me on. Unfortunatelly, at the end broadcaster did not tell what were we listening.
I called the radio station on monday and found our that it was ouverture to Benvenuto Cellini.

Since than, he is my music love number 2, after Beethoven.

Well, both are great. Two geniouses. Their bodies are gone now, but the best part of them, their music, goes on and on, like religion.
