Criminal Justice major at Marywood University, Scranton, PA. I am also a firearms enthusiast.

The Federal Government should be:
*Defense of our federation/nation. (look them up).
*Central banking system.
*Interstate transportation system and ONLY INTERSTATE transportation, not local crap.
*International relations.
*Defense of the rights provided by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights as written

the ratifiers also provided to us the 9th Amendment, which states: "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people". This means we have so many rights as humans that we could not write them all down in one document. The Declaration mentions we have certain inalienable rights endowed by our Creator. So it's not irrational we have rights beyond what the Constitution prescribes.

Federal Government is NOT: Education, Health Care, Welfare, Environmentalism... These should all be handled on a State, Local, or Family level.

Gay rights, gun right, civil rights, reproductive rights and so on. We all think our viewpoint is the right one, we choose which ideology we want to adopt, and dismiss all others as backward, racist, immoral, unnatural, or corrupt. Get off your high horse and maybe take a look at your self and check your moral vanity!!!!
