About Yabancı Değiliz Band
Yabancı Değiliz has been performing regularly since 2007. With music that fuses the cultural similarities of music from the east and west, Yabancı Değiliz's originals mix western rock and pop styles with Turkish lyrics and flavor, to create something that is truly multicultural. Citing influences that include The Beatles, Mazhar Fuat Özkan (MFÖ), Maroon 5 and Coldplay, the band describe their sound as, "a blend of unique lyrics and smooth harmonies driven deep into alternative pop-rock driven beats". YD continues to widen their sound with the use of synthesizers and have enjoyed the results, hoping to bring fresh sounds to the already lively music scene in Istanbul.
